JOMAV Homes presents traffic warden with land
In a bid to reflect and celebrate our societal core values of diligence and hard work on this year’s International Workers Day, the management of Jomav Homes and Properties headquartered in Akure, Ondo State has gifted a traffic warden, Mr. Olaseni Gbenga popularly known as ‘Eba’ with a piece of land at The Avilla, Akure as a reward for his hard work and innovative mode of operation. This was done by the organization as an act to reward an example of industrious public service done in a diligent and deliberate manner widely observed by most citizens of the city of Akure. Mr. Olaseni, who is usually stationed at ‘S.O’ and ‘Cathedral’ axes of the city is widely known across Akure for his energetic and nonstop use of dance steps and choreographed movements in directing traffic, which often leads to passersby hailing his name while passing by or driving on the ever-busy roads.
In an interview granted by Mr. Olaseni or ‘Eba’ as he is fondly called, he expressed sincere gratitude and appreciation to Jomav Homes and Properties for deeming it fit to reward his work with something of such great value. Speaking on his motivation, he cited a desire to make people happy and entertained with his style of work.
According to the management, the decision to reward Mr. Olaseni was borne out of an initiative to celebrate diligence in public service such as was shown by the traffic warden. This is also in line with the organization’s principles of giving back to the local community and rewarding the foundational values of hard work, creativity, and innovation in the line of duty.
